Smells Like Christmas Spirit

Oh christmas tree! - at Frederiksberg, Copenhagen
Feeling careless for christmas. Okay not excatcly. Christmas is cozy, but the tickling that I felt as a child in my stomach, just when someone mentioned it, isn't there anymore. I love the thought of lighting up this dark time, but all that making-money-out-of-every-little-christmas-thing is so ugly. All they focus on is SELL SELL SELL. sell your soul? With that being said: I hope you'll have a jolly, loveful, magic christmas.

Isn't life great? I always get that feeling after a day in Copenhagen. Like anything is possible. Why? Perhaps it's just the vivid, hopeful atmosphere that surrounds me as soon, as I take my first step at Nørreport st. Perhaps the many different souls with their different lifes walking past me every minute. Perhaps it's the city lights blinking back at me. I don't know. I just know that I feel home.

Mug ~starbucks, bag and shirt ~vintage, Silver rings and wooden pencils ~Brazil, earrings and notebook ~present from a dear friend
Appropiate for a day like this. Notice the vintage bag that I've added a double chain handle to. Nice, right?
It's a cold, dark november day, and I have an unconditionally and incredibly urge to fly to anywhere but here.

Not much to say about my life at the moment. It's pretty much just school, work, study (exciting right?). Oh how I would love to travel somewhere right now.

The only news is that I'm starting to do yoga every morning, getting addicted to inscence sticks, wants to take vocal lessons and have added a few (fake) dreads to my hair.
I'm sorry I don't have anything more thrilling to write...

Malmö!

Today I went on a one day trip to Malmö along with my mum. Here's some photos and tips, from this wonderful city.
From Denmark to Malmö there's a train that goes across the sea, and the trip is quite beautiful.

Getting hungry? Don't search for long. This cozy place is called "Meze", and for 79 sweedish crown there's a wonderful buffet filled with falafel, hummus and tasteful Arabian salats. Absolutely delicious! - Engelbrektsgatan 13.
In 'Spirit Stores' you find international Marc Jacobs as well as Scandinavian Acne and Filippa K. I just wanted to take the silk shirt and the angora sweater home with me. Also fashionable books and scented candles is to be found in this inspiring 2 floor building - Södra Förstadsgatan 25.

Also a fan of vintage? Check out this well put together, budget friendly second hand store at Kärleksgatan 3.

Perhaps I should do this with my own magazine covers?

Hah, just had to take a shot of these entertaining "Indians" that was dancing at one of the many squares.

Turn a shirt into a dress

Loving the idea of stealing your father's, brother's or boyfriend's oversize shirts and turning them into dresses!

Vintage love

I love when things carry a story. The sweet old lady in the local thrifstore told me that the previous owner of this chic lady bag was a stewadess... Now everytime I wear the bag, I'll imagine all the places in the world it has been.
These two dresses was bought in the previously mentioned "Flying A vintage store" located near the original in Copenhagen. The unique dresses were 100 kr each, and the two leather belts were 15 kr each. How insane is that! :)
